How it works

Paste the Mermaid code your AI gave you, or drop a .mmd, .md or .txt file on the code. Markdown fences and the text around them are ignored; a file with several diagrams lets you pick one.

The strip above the preview draws your diagram in all six themes. A theme sets the colours, the font, the corners, the lines and the spacing, and every download keeps it.

Pick where you will use it and the recommended format is highlighted. SVG for Office writes every label as real text, so PowerPoint and Word show all of it, and trims the margins to the diagram. PNG, PDF and PPTX come from the same drawing.

If Mermaid cannot read the code, the problem is explained in plain words and its line is marked. Copy for my AI copies the error and the code for your AI to fix. Fix automatically quotes labels that need quotes and renames end when it is used as a box name.

Questions

Is my diagram sent anywhere?: No. Drawing and every download happen in this page, in your browser. The page sends anonymous counts, such as which theme and format were used, never your code or its text. If you join the list for the editable PPTX, your email is kept for that and nothing else.
Why does the text disappear when I put a Mermaid SVG in PowerPoint?: Mermaid usually writes labels as HTML inside the SVG, and Office does not draw HTML. SVG for Office writes them as SVG text and inlines the styles, so Office shows every label.
Which format should I pick?: SVG for Office for PowerPoint, Word and the web. PNG for Google Slides and Google Docs, which do not take SVG. PDF for printing, Keynote and LaTeX. Where will you use it? picks one for you.
Which diagram types work?: Any diagram Mermaid 12.2 can draw. The themes are checked on flowcharts and on sequence, class, state, entity-relationship, Gantt, pie, mindmap and timeline diagrams. User journeys cannot be saved as SVG for Office yet: use PNG or PDF.
